Aleona Isakova 

 

An artist, fashion and costume designer, author, hostess of TV programs and  teacher of Haute Couture design .


From 1991 to 2004, she led Favore Fashion House (Switzerland & Russia) as Art Director, designing haute couture collections that were shown internationally with great acclaim in locations such as: Citadel,  Jerusalem, Israel;  Welsh Parliament, Great Britain;  Tretyakov Gallery, Moscow ; Propeller Fashion Show, Sydney, Australia; and Yusupovsky Palace, St.Petersburg, Russia.

 

​In 2012 Aleona’s art was presented at the 60th National Prayer Breakfast, Washington DC and at the 2012-2013 Evergreen Museum and Library, Johns Hopkins University.



Experts from The State Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg, one of the world’s largest

and oldest museums, deemed Aleona Isakova's illustrations for the book of Song of Solomon “an original and significant contribution to contemporary Biblical illustration.”

 

Since 2010 she lives with her husband in Washington DC, USA.
